The route will run across Russia’s Western and Eastern Siberia. The implementation of Siberia 2 will strengthen the energy cooperation between China and Russia. It will significantly improve the ecological and economic conditions in China. At the same time, it will help realize the gasification of areas in Russia along the pipeline and supply natural gas to some Chinese regions where gas hasn’t been available.”
