“Will Russia and China support Iran militarily?… Don’t expect Putin and Xi Jinping to jump in, but we can’t rule out indirect support. Just look at China’s response to the war in Ukraine. On paper, they are neutral, but they continue to help Russia, whether it is by buying Russian energy, or selling military parts to the Russian army. Maybe they could do the same for Iran. We saw the US and the UK shoot down Iranian drones for Israel. Don’t expect Russia or China to do that for Iran.”
